Meeting by T.C. Christopher

Micah breathed in the warm, grainy air as he walked up the hill. The summer sun burned his neck and the blue skies blew kisses of puffy white clouds to the mountains that loomed in the distance. The gravel road was hard beneath his thin shoes and his backpack heavy on his shoulders; but he could take them both, they had become welcome burdens for his troubled heart.

I'm so glad I was referred to this story, it was everything a story should be...intelligent plot, amazing descriptions, complex characters, easily followable, wow!!! I loved it! Definitely one I'm going to read again!

This is a grandly, beautiful story, written by an even more admirable young person, especially doing good in this country by becoming an engineer. We need more people who can show the true issues of a people, or a country in something as simple as a short story, written to sincere perfection! So, excited to see more of what you have to offer...

wow, I'm greaty impressed by the way the plot unfolded in this story. The whole plot took it's time to unfold, but I'm guessing that was the prime intention. To explain the story of these two people, but show how it developed and the journey that lead to them meeting again. Making the piece even more memorable to one. I defintely will recommend this to others to read, especially my South African friends.

I love reading, but honestly there are only a few stories in the world, with which one can acually feel themself becoming the character and this was one of them, powerful story right over here!

Lovely Thabiso. I think you write really well,i liked how the plot develops and how, as i kept reading, things that i kept wondering about were slowly being unraveled to me. I was worried at the beginning that it was too descriptive and that had too much of a focus o the scenery etc, and that you were not saying enough about Micah but as i say, the more i read the more i learned.I especially found your reference to South Africa and the challenges that we are currently experiencing to be very insightful. I had never thought about it like that. I look forward to reading more of work, you go boy and never come back!

Thank you very much, Nomonde! The beginning is meant to bring his present into focus when contrasted to his past, which was once like his present. You will be seeing more of my work soon enough!
